Who Is Andrew Wee vs. Who Is MIKE JONES

If you're tired of refreshing this page every day like a d-bag, you should probably subscribe to the RSS feed.

Long time readers of nickycakes.com will remember Andrew Wee from late 2007’s most bangin’ online moneymakin post when he placed an easy #7 in the 2007 Top 10 Worst Make Money Online Blogs. Suggested by several wee-hatin’ wickedfire members (wee is actually a guide on wickedfire), his podcast was specifically singled out and laughed at for being redundant and lacking content. Andrew Would later go on to completely redeem himself, which will be discussed later in this post. Wee’s Blog, called Who Is Andrew Wee, generally contains a lot of motivational topics and podcasts by “marketing gurus” who say pretty much the same thing from week to week. Andrew himself does stuff like making facebook apps and spending lots of time on twitter and playing gangsta elf games on facebook. Please pay attention here, this IS going somewhere. Here’s some youtube footage of andrew:
Ok, so if you’re anything like Nickycakes, you’re probably thinking to yourself, “Why does this seem so familiar?” Well, good news: you’re not crazy! Andrew’s self marketing and branding strategy is based on an extremely popular marketing strategy that was used only 4 years ago.
Anyone familiar with southern rappers from 2005ish will know Mike Jones and his breakout album, “Who Is Mike Jones?” Coincidence? Yeah right. By the way, Mike Jones is one of Nickycakes’ heroes. Nobody sports the platinum grill with diamonds better than him. But yeah, these guys have just way too much in common for anyone to believe that this is just a random occurance. Just look at the facts:
- Mike Jones’ First Album: “Who Is Mike Jones”; Andrew Wee’s Blog: “Who Is Andrew Wee”
- Andrew Wee Makes Facebook Apps; Mike Jones Has Facebook Account
- Andrew Wee Does A Podcast; Mike Jones Probably Owns an iPod
- Wee’s Podcast Says Same Thing Every Week; Mike Jones Says Same Thing In Every Song
- Wee Has Contact Info On His Blog; Jones Yells His Cell Phone Number On All His Tracks
- Mike Jones Drinks Purple Codeine Cough Syrup; Andrew Wee Likely Owns A Purple Shirt
- Jones Drives Cadillacs With Woodgrain Steering Wheels; Wee Owns The ‘Cadillac’ of Webcams
- Mike Jones Has Shiny Diamonds In His Teeth; Andrew Wee’s Glasses Sometimes Reflect Sunlight
If there’s any doubt left in your mind where Andrew formed his marketing strategy, just compare Mike Jones’ breakout single “Back Then” to Andrew Wee’s youtube video above:
So yeah, it’s pretty clear that they’re pretty much the same person.
Anyway, Andrew recently wanted to bring some flavor to his weekly podcast so asked Nickycakes to come be intereviewed on the very podcast Nickycakes had slammed about 9 months ago. Smart move, yo. The interview is mad long…like 40 mins or so. You can check it out here: Nickycakes vs. Andrew Wee Interview.
Summary?
- There’s no magic secret to making money online; just try stuff until something works.
- Buying e-books is a waste of money
- If you want to stack mad cheddar, you better be prepared to put in mad hours.
- Andrew Wee is a gangsta
Go listen to the interview and leave a comment telling Wee how much of a gangsta he is.
Keep it real.

When asked about Mr. Wee’s magic with the ladies back in high school, he responded:
“Back then ho’s di-int want me, now em hot ho’s all on me.”
More proof!

Your logic is flawless.
I only disagree with one thing - NickyCakes rocks the platinum/diamond grill far better than Mike Jones.

As a loyal reader and fan of this blog and WF member, I’m beginning to lose respect for you now selling out to this clown, Wee. Really disappointed in you. I’d listen to your interview, but quite frankly, Wee is so painful to listen to and diffucult to understand that I don’t think I could take it. Further, he’s offered no value in his other interviews I’ve heard. You’ve really lowered yourself by associating with him and his loser interviews - some spammer namaed “Rachel Rofe” stands out in my mind as one of the worst I’ve heard and his interview with Amit was pretty useless and redundant chit chat also. I find this guy to be one of the biggest jokes in the industry - almost near the level of Joel Comm still selling Adsense. What some some people won’t do for fame. Just disappointed in you for selling out!

unsubscribe I’f you’re not entertained. I don’t do this for e-fame.

NickyCakes:
Thanks for the awesome interview with AW.
I don’t want to get into a long post here, but your words got me to get off my ass and start DOING something.
In the last year or so, I’ve bought every freaking ebook and software the so called guru assholes have put out there. YES, I am the REAL asshole for falling for it.
Anyhow, your interview made me realize that unless I take action, nothing will happen. And I’m not sure if it is your style or the no bull shit attitude, but you resonated with me.
And honestly, AW is not that likable or understandable as stated by others… but WHO CARES!!!
Not even Eben Pagan made me take action. But a 40 minute interview did.
Again, thanks for doing it and I hope to be able to email you back in the near future and tell you of my successes.

Uhh did you forget that Wee himself is selling a dumb e-book with the fake cardboard box display thing?
OMG!!!!MAKE MILLIONZZ LIKE STEVE frum Apple!!
September 9th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
Yes, i have mentioned that to him. E-books are a joke.

“As a loyal reader and fan of this blog and WF member, I’m beginning to lose respect for you now selling out to this clown, Wee.”
I know, i know, if Wee offered you $2,000 to praise him in public somewhere, you’d turn him down because you have deep convictions. Everyone can be made a sell-out. EVERYBODY has a price.

I did it cause i wanted to. Who the hell would pay me to appear on a podcast anyway. Sometimes I wonder how humanity has survived so long with so many idiots.

Laugh loudly when reading the comparision.

Some funny chit man. I agree ebooks are a joke. But they sell, and suckers never die.
