After months of beta, 202 Pro is finally live.  For those who never used Prosper202, feel free to read Nicky’s writeup on setting up tracking here.

Many of you have used Prosper202 since it came out pretty much, and those who have know exactly how valuable it is.  Nickycakes can honestly say that Prosper202 has been used by many of his friends to help get literally millions more in profit than they normally would have without the tracking.

Industry Trust:

When the original hosted version of Tracking202 came out, over a year ago, most people in the industry didn’t know Wes or the other 202 guys and were a little worried about them trying to steal peoples campaign data.  In response, they released prosper202, the self hosted version, but many people stayed on using Tracking202 with no foul play for over a year.  Additionally, Nickycakes has known them personally for that time period and knows that they’re good guys and make solid products.

First Impressions:

Having taken a look at 202 Pro himself, Nickycakes has been really impressed.  Normally, Nicky is skeptical of any pay service online for affiliate marketing, but this one really seems worth the money.  Why?  Well, it adds a bunch of features to prosper202 that you will have a really hard time finding anywhere else, and would take you a damn long time to code yourself.

Instead of having to log in to all your traffic sources to check your stats, 202 will pull the data itself, including your cost per click for each individual keyword which was one big feature that prosper was missing.  Not only that, but you don’t have to manually put in all the destination urls into your campaigns anymore since 202 pro does that for you as well.

Also, 202 Pro is hooked up to all the affiliate networks, so instead of having to manually log in and check your stats, or paste your revenue reports into prosper202, it will be completely automated.  No more refreshing stats all day, since they will refresh themselves automatically on the 202 page.

Oh, you want to check your stats from your iphone or blackberry?  Yeah, 202 pro comes with an app for that.  Press a button and see your full stats anywhere.  game over.

Reliability:

Redirects are gone.  There were a few times that the old hosted Tracking202 would failboat and peoples campaigns would be crippled for the few minutes or whatever that the system was down.  Well that has been fixed so that there are no more redirects that go through 202′s systems, so you will still be making your internet monies even after osama jihad’s on Wes’ servers.

Keyword Tracking:

Keyword tracking, as mentioned earlier, is much better now in pro than it was in normal prosper202.  Before, you could easily see your conversion % and EPC for each individual bidded keyword, but it was impossible to tell exactly how much you were spending on the individual keywords.  Well, now, the system will pull all that data right out of google/msn/yahoo and you will see EXACTLY which keywords are profitable, and by exactly how much.  Not only that, but you can now track the SEARCHED keywords, as in…if you pull a uberaffiliate and bid on broad matched ‘chat’, you will be able to see which actual searches like ‘dating chat’ or whatever, were actually driving the sales.  This lets you pretty much bid on a big ass broad keyword and then cherry pick the good ones after a day or two of running traffic, and have a profitable campaign faster than you could imagine.  Game over.

Advantages vs. Prosper202:

So why should you get Tracking 202 Pro when Prosper202 is already working well for you.  Well, as mentioned above, there are a bunch of new features.  But probably the biggest is how easy everything is to set up.  You just import your google/yahoo/msn accounts, and then import your affiliate network accounts, put a piece of javascript on your landing page, and you’re good to go.  Should take you about 10-20 minutes total to hook it up unless your average day consists of being wheeled around shopping malls with your helmet on sipping apple juice through a straw.  Oh and the new interface looks slick as well.

Retard Walkthrough:

So how can you use Tracking202 Pro to make lots of money?  Well, it’s pretty simple.  Lets say you want to promote a credit report offer.  You’d import your adwords account into 202, import the network into 202, put the javascript on whatever landing page you made for yourself, bid on some really broad high traffic keywords like “credit” and let it ride for a day to see what actual searched keywords converted, clear out the broad keywords, add the more targeted searched keywords, and you now have a profitable campaign.  Congratulations, you probably don’t even qualify to work at mcdonalds but you’re getting paid more than your whole family.

Pricing:

The pricing for 202 pro is actually very reasonable for what it does, and it also scales with use, so if you are only sending 1000 clicks a month, you’re not going to get completely raped like you would if you were using some commercial packages.  The price starts out at $20 per month and scales up from there, and there is also a small (less than half a cent) per-click fee.  Google adwords (retards) also charge about a quarter per 1000 API calls, which shouldn’t really be pricy at all considering 202 updates the stats from search engines only once per day.
