Sick of Facebook Disabling Your Ads?

Posted on November 28th, 2007 in Facebook, Retards

No problem, bitch to CS. Sick of having like 50 ads in a row denied by facebook manual reviews with bs reasons, cakes’s friend decided to send a mail to advertise@facebook.com. Seems like this was enough to get his ads turned back on.

Currently, the manual review process is a complete joke. If you repost the same ad over and over, someone will eventually approve it. Evening hours seem to be the best for slipping shady ads through, due to understaffing or something, who knows. There have even been some screenshots floating around about some pr0n ads flying under the radar (the blue bar was not in the ad when it was displayed):

Anyway, here’s the email exchange about the disabled facebook ads. Hopefully this will help you guys get your stuff turned on if it’s being wrongly disabled.

Hi,

My Ad Does not violate any of the policies you have mentioned. Why are my
ads being disabled unfairly? Is there a real person looking? Please take a
look at my website ad.

How long did it take from the time you sent the email till the ad was back up and running? I am just intrested in if it took hours or days?

Any way to sneak ZIP or email submit offers to them? I am getting quite pissed off, they reject everything from competition to insurance. What do they expect us to sell there beside used goods?

Yes, it’s pretty easy, and I detailed how to do it in http://www.nickycakes.com/gaming-facebook-ads-part-2/
along with source code for sending the manual review staff to a different url =)
