Raising Your Facebook Ads Spending Limit
Posted on December 14th, 2007 in Facebook
If you're tired of refreshing this page every day like a d-bag, you should probably subscribe to the RSS feed.
When Facebook Ads was first launched, there was no daily spending limit. Probably due to fraud, they implemented a $250 per day spending limit shortly after launch on all accounts. Probably due to more fraud, this limit was decreased to $50. But if you would like to spend more than that, all hope is not lost. You can raise your limit to $250 again by spending the $50 per day limit for a week straight. After that you should have the option to raise it.
Just like the widespread fraud associated with facebook flyers, what people had been doing is using small limit prepaid credit cards to sign up for accounts, rack up huge bills, then make new accounts when those ones got disabled for non-payment, which probably forced facebook to lower the limits to try and prevent it. PLEASE PLEASE do not try this. Credit card fraud will get you locked up with a quickness.

Currently I had campaigns on pause for the last 5-6 days because I too much other stuff going on so I am getting ready to find out exactly what’s going on in my account.
However, now that you made us aware of this, what’s the Cakes doing to get around this? Or is he just playing by the rules?
