Hey Nicky,

This is a nice post and brings up some valid points. One of the items I talk about as well is making sure you test variations of campaigns to see what works best. Perhaps your readers could benefit from tips on setting up a profitable display campaign. All from experience so I think it's pretty useful.

Look forward to reading more of your insight!

nickycakes (just love that name - as and ex-Philadelphia girl, I think of Tastycakes and get hungry everytime. . .): Wish you would answer some of the other newbie questions above.
ALSO - how do you think the new BING search engine is going to affect this? Will you be adding it to your list, or will it end up being another big-bad-google-monster?

Nice summary. You mention you spend $100 on testing a campaign - how many $'s per day on average?

As for MSN adcenter(others), do landing pages link from an msn search? I was typing in random keywords and didn't see many affiliate (looking) landing pages. Just curious.

So which of the ad networks would you say is the low hanging fruit?

Let's say I have 1k only to play with, I have about 10 offers I can promote, where would you try and place them first?

BTW- these guides are awesome and your writing style is hilarious.
