I also found a great way to do this without the StumbleUpon toolbar.

   1. Get Firefox!
   2. Get a StumbleUpon.com account. They don't verify email, so just register with anything: stumbleupon.com
   3. Install the iMacros Firefox extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3863
   4. Install the RefControl extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/953
   5. In Firefox, click Tools -> RefControl Options
   6. Where it says "Default for sites not listed" click Edit, and add your URL:
   7. Test your referer by visiting http://scriptamp.com/ref.php
   8. In Firefox, click View -> Sidebar -> iOpus iMacros
  9. Create a new macro, and use the following script:

      Code:

      VERSION BUILD=6240709 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1
URL GOTO=javascript:if(location.href.indexOf("stumbleupon.com/s/")<0){window.location="http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/"}
SET !ERRORIGNORE YES
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:linkStumble
WAIT SECONDS=1
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:linkThumb
WAIT SECONDS=1

  12. In iMacros set "Max:" to a high number (how many pages you want to stumple), like 3000 or 10000.
  13. Click Play(Loop)
  14. Profit!

The best way would be to create a db of urls, dates, and scrapes.

Start out with 10 urls

Create a cron job that loads a php script. All it does is spider out grabbing webpages and searching for links on those pages. This can be done with a curl or pears http_request. You have to load the whole page for it to show up in all stats...

Once you have a bunch of urls, throttle down and just hit all of those urls with a cron job. Once you spam the hell out of them for a while, ditch them and get new urls.

What would make this even better is if you hooked this up to a proxy script also. That way webmasters would see many ip's with that referrer and not just one.

Now all your visitors to YOUR REFERER PAGE are targeted!... They are all webmasters! Sell them servers, webhosting, etc, etc. I am going to do this with eroticmugshots.com. I am going to make an affiliates landing page that pushes making cash for adult friend finder, fling and others.... when they click on those and signup, I get a % of everything they make.

The stumbleupon part can be interchanged with a little effort in building a list of niche-specific sites, or having a list constantly built and cued for u or whatever.

But what should be done differently is that you visit the same sites over and over again, switching your proxies so that the webmasters are more compelled to check out your site. Getting 400 visits from one site is more likely to draw attention then just 1 visit.

So basically maintain a list. Forget Stumbleupon.

I am trying out PRStorm instead. When doing referrer spoofing why not use a social media link like your video at YouTube.com or Metacafe that links back to your keep your own link out of the spam mix. Also use a Wireless Cafe to Reffer Spoof and not your own ISP.

There is one problem with RefControl, I discovered yesterday: If a website is using Google Maps, you get an error message from Google that has to be close by clicking the OK button.

If you write such a script you have to reckon with this.

But one thing I don’t understand: the idea is to stumble their sites or my site?"

Missed the boat completely there pal. lol
