This is a new show, so your feedback is really appreciated. Please leave some comments here, positive or negative, so the show can be improved. Also, if you have suggestions for guests you’d like to hear from, or topics/questions you feel need to be addressed on the show, please post those as well.
Nickycakes will try to make this a weekly thing, and just like last night, you can watch the live stream at http://justin.tv/cakestv which lets you ask questions of the guests in chat in realtime.
Thanks for watching!
Great concept cakes, keep the ideas flowing, I think an online mastermind group seminar like this one can be a good thing for promoting new ideas for enhancing marketing efforts.
Good content, like how you’re back in the saddle again. I know everyone’s just gonna ask you for case studies so I’ll switch it up.
Talk about why everyone moves to Thailand. Also talk about any tax havens or what some affiliates do to decrease taxes (since tax season’s on the way).
People move or visit Thailand because, as a westerner, everything is SO easy to do there. A little money goes a really really long way and theres tons of fun stuff to do.
@sean
Getting advice on tax issues from affiliates is the worst thing you can do.
Get yourself a CPA or tax attorney.
this. absolutely this.
nah, I already found a really good thread on this topic at digital point so I got all the info I need. thanks anyways.
Lmao. Good luck with that.
How about an episode with a tax attorney who might be interested picking up some affiliate clients?
That’s tough with 50 states to cover.
This was really well done, guys. Looking forward to the next one.
Great show keep it up.
lol @ guru… all he runs are rebills with fake news landers.
Fun to hear you guys – please submit this show to iTunes.
Just find iTunes link – don’t mind me.
Love this.
Only complaint: guests need to step up their mic quality.
Really enjoyed watching this, looking forward to more episodes.
Yeah it’s tough because I rely on skype. Guys in other countries tend to lag sometimes.
My affiliate network market knowledge must be getting old, it looks like Azoogle has jumped back with some strong numbers in Q4 of 2011: It looks like they are doing ok, but I know from a strong source their numbers were not that great 6-12 months ago.

Just listened to this on itunes, like the idea but there were some really big differences in volume between different people. Daniel and Rob were pretty loud Nicky and Wes were much quieter and harder to hear. So minor technical things to look at for next episode.
Yes I noticed that too. Going to try and fix that for the next ep.
Sorry for this question here, but what specific programs/languages would you need to make something like the example acai LP that was provided in your newbie guide? Adobe Dreamweaver, photoshop, css, xml…? Thanks NickyCakes.
Dang Dr Ngo…why you gotta call me out for throwin my money at bottles every week!?
Enjoyed it, is the next one planned already?
Already done, actually. I plan to do it every wednesday night that I’m free. Follow my twitter to know when it’s recording and you can watch live and ask questions.
Thank you for creating your show. this industry can be very confusing due to the pace and dishonesty. you site is like a bottle of windex. show requests:
#web design
# security
# adding video and audio
# selling direct ads
# domains and site flipping
# specialized industries like porn, esty,
# created social network sites or forums..etc
thanks!
Wow, that’s a huge compliment. I’ll try to touch on some of those topics in future episodes.
I like the idea for the show. I also think it’s cool that you link to mp3 so i can listen to in on the road.
As for ASW, the show itself doesn’t seem worth it. Seems like its much better just as a way to bring together everyone face to face. I went to a few sessions and a lot of them were very very basic. Bofu’s talk was pretty good though. ASW is worth going just for an excuse to get to vegas, but not much more.
Good to see nothing has changed since I last visited WF 3 or so years ago.
Kudos gents!
