Out of the 3 hotels next to eachother which are near the conference (you want to be near the conference hotel) the palms is the best, followed by rio, and gold coast. Clubs in the palms always have lines every time ive gone, and the whole thing is always packed. dunno what you're smokin man. Palms is always jumpin when i go there. The Palms is so far off the strip that they have to partner with playboy etc. just to get people to go there. The Rain club is far from one of the best. Maybe 5 years ago it was, but that is no longer the case. Palms is OK to visit, but it's definetly not where I or anyone I know would want to stay. You're much much better off staying on the strip where all the people and happenings are and going and the hottest clubs like Tao, Pure, or Rumjungle.
